The IEBC is now all set for the fresh presidential election on October 26.
This is after the final batch of ballot papers arrived in the country on Tuesday, October 24.
The plane transporting the papers touched ground at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 6.30pm.
Although there was no single IEBC commissioner at the airport to receive the consignment, a few of the commission's officials led by the warehouse manager Benard Nyachieo were there to ensure smooth clearance of the batches.
"I can confirm that this evening we have received the last batch of 160 pallets of the ballot papers to be used on Thursday," Mr Nyachieo said.
"All the ballot papers will be distributed this (Tuesday) night,” he added.
