[Photo|Raila Odinga]Plans to swear-in NASA leader Raila Odinga as Kenya's fifth president are on course.Reports say Odinga has already dispatched invitation cards ahead of his inauguration on December 12, a day Kenyans will be celebrating Jamhuri Day, to mark 54 years of independence.The invite was posted on the coalition’s Telegram channel, communicating that the venue for the event would be communicated.Reports further indicated that leaders from the international community and across the region had also been invited.

"You are invited. Come witness the swearing-in of the people's president Raila Amollo Odinga on 12th December at 12 noon. Location to be communicated after vetting of RSVP," read part of the card. 

In a brief address to supporters at Manyanja Road in Donholm Nairobi last Tuesday, Odinga who failed to recognise Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency, vowed to take oath of office.“I will be sworn-in as president through the People’s Assembly and get into State House on December 12. Uhuru Kenyatta is not the President of Kenya," said the former prime minister.
