All is set for the Mushujaa Day celebrations for Nakuru county residents at the Afraha stadium with final touches in terms of preparations taking place.

Addressing media at the stadium on Thursday afternoon, Nakuru County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha said all is set for the day.

According to the Commissioner, the celebrations at Afraha will commence at 10am.

“As Nakuru County we will not be left behind in this and that is why we are saying all is set for the day and I call on all residents to come out in large numbers so that we can celebrate together,” he said.

Meanwhile, the County commissioner also called on residents to maintain peace ahead of the repeat Presidential elections Thursday next week.

“As a county we are also prepared from the presidential elections repeat on 26th and I want to assure residents there will be maximum secuirity. Let people wake up early and vote,” the commissioner said.
