Maseno University will on Saturday March 26, 2016 host a beauty pageant after holding successful auditions in all their three Satelite Campuses.
The event will be held at the Graduation Square.
This year’s Mr & Miss Maseno will see 10 ladies battle for the crown while 10 gentlemen will also outshine each other in the competition for the top prize.
Other categories that will be competed for are Miss Plus Size and Mr Flexx.
The models who have been training for the last three weeks have high expectations of performing their best during the much hyped event.
“I am very optimistic that the event will be glamorous and successful. I urge comrades to come out in large numbers and witness Maseno’s talent,” said Barbara one of the female contestants.
The event is sponsored by Equator Bottlers (Coca Cola), Equity Bank, Maseno University and Students Organisation of Maseno.
According to the SOMU Director Entertainment, Mejja of the Kansoul will be the main artiste to grace the event alongside Maseno’s finest artistes Nadia Xclusive, Koncheezy, Lang Katalang among others.
On the decks, Dj Big Mike of NTV will be keeping the crowd entertained alongside Dj Hush and Dj Blueprint of Maseno.
Also expected to grace the gala night will be Comedian Chipukeezy.
The event will kick off at 6pm.
