[Photo|Daily Nation]The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has revealed plans to conduct three by-elections in areas where candidates died ahead of the August general election.The by-election will be held in Bogichora ward, in Nyamira county, where election was postponed after Jubilee Party candidate, John Onsumu Okebiro died four days to the elections.A by-election will be held in Kitutu Chache South constituency after Jubilee Party candidate, Leonard Mwamba died in a car accident on July 14 at Nyakoe area along Kisii-Kisumu road.IEBC will also conduct a by-election in Masalani ward in Garissa County, following the death of Jubilee Party candidate Ibrahim Abdullahi Muktar on July 5, in a road accident.In a communication, IEBC said campaigns for the by-election should take place from September 7 to November 5.The exercise will be held on November 7.
