Striker Gerishom Arabe's header in the first half was enough to earn Kisumu County Sponsored side, Kisumu All Stars a 1-0 win over Kenya Police, in a National Super League (NSL) played at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Tuesday.

It was All-Stars second win in a row after beating Isibania FC 2-1 last weekend, while it was the second defeat for the Charles Omondi Korea led Police FC, this season. 

Interestingly, Police lost the other match against Western Stima at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Kisumu All Stars, led by former Kenyan international Nickanor Aketch is now third on the NSL log with 25 points after 14 matches, six points behind leaders Western Stima.

In other matches played on Tuesday, FC Talanta stunned Bidco United 3-2, while Administration Police (AP) managed a rare 2-1 win over Coast Stima.NSL action continues today, with six matches set to be played across the country.

Leaders Western Stima will host 17th placed Green Commandoes at Kisumu’s Moi Stadium, KCB will play against Nairobi City Stars, Nakuru All Stars will host Nairobi Stima, while St Joseph Youth will visit Modern Coast Rangers in Mombasa.

Isibania FC will host Nairobi’s Kangemi All-Stars in Awendo, Migori County.
