A 28-year-old man was on Wednesday night arrested while in possession of 300 grams of bhang in Masungu village, Kalama location, Machakos county.
Confirming the arrest, Kyangala area Chief Benson Kivaya stated that the suspect is one of the notorious sellers of bhang to the youth.
"We arrested the man after getting information from the public and found 300 grams of bhang in his possession after which we handed him over to the police," said Kivaya.
He further warned the people involved in selling drugs to the youth stating he wouldn't hesitate fighting them.
"Those people selling bhang to our children should be identified because our areas development is being dragged behind by such behaviour," he added.
The arrested was taken to Machakos police station awaiting to be arraigned in Machakos Court on Thursday.
