Addressing the media in Kisumu , Track One Learners’ Alliance, specialising in education matters, and raised pertinent issues of politicians interfering with the management of county education.
“Politicians specifically members of the county assemblies should not be involved as third parties in decision-making process on issues affecting education. This is contrary to the County Government Act,” said Innocent Masara who is the chairman of the alliance.
He demanded that a complete overhaul of management of education in Kisumu County having in mind the basic education Act that mandates the cabinet Secretary to promote quality education in the country.
