Kisumu County voice spokesperson Audi Ogada, speaking on Friday at a Kisumu hotel during a press conference organized by educationists on guidelines on career choosing, he noted the students had done exceptionally well and they needed to be empowered on proper careers and what every profession required depending on the points.

Audi noted that through career empowering amongst the academicians would give proper production output, as many of the locals will never end up in careers they never opted leading to unprofessionalism.

He added that some young elites chose careers based on the its good naming, popularity in given career, but instead checked their felted interest, capability and the career in the job market, asking CeC to quickly allocate funds in seeing proper career choosing is enhanced.

“For us to curb unproductivity in our areas of study, we should ensure students are pursuing a career they opted for, the young academicians need to be empowered on various careers and the significance,” noted Audi.

Nominated MCA Caroline Ogot also noted that the young academicians needed to be guided on careers, challenging the Kere to set aside such funds.

She further emphasized that career choosing was important in the job market, as professionals will deem the career they pursued with felted interest.
