The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) is offering to lead talks with the aim of ending the political impasse in the country.

KCCB leaders said leaders in the country must come together to dialogues so as to resolve the standoff between Jubilee and NASA.

Led by KCCB vice chairman Rev John Owaa, the men of cloth said politicians must always be mindful of the country in everything they do so as to save it from civil unrest and anarchy.

In a statement signed by 24 bishops from different dioceses, Bishop Philip Anyolo said they are forming a national dialogue forum to spearhead talks.

"This is aimed at bringing all Kenyans together to look at the true picture of the country and set the agenda for true discussion and resolutions," Anyolo said as reported by The Star.

They clergymen offered to create a dialogue platform for dialogue on electoral reforms, national healing and reconciliation.

"We shall offer an opportunity to all Kenyans, religious leaders, civil society groups, political groups for a constructive talk on the way forward for the country."

"We will re-look certain areas of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 that still remain problematic," he said.
