Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has refuted claims that he is a political coward terming it political propaganda.
Speaking on Saturday at Mercy Njeri primary school in Rongai, Nakuru county, Mudavadi said those saying he is a coward have never been on the ballot box as contestants.
"I have been on the ballot box once in 2013 yet those calling me a coward have never been on ballot ,so who is s coward?" Mudavadi said.
The ANC leader further insisted that he is in the race for the presidency in 2017. He urged leaders to shun disisive politics saying the country has come far and no one is ready to go back to violence.
"Even you here in Nakuru, you faced a lot in 2007/2008 post election violence and the scars are still evident and therefore we should preach peace as we head to the general elections,"said Mudavadi.
He was speaking when he met ANC members where he urged those without National IDs and voters cards to ensure they equip with them in readiness for 2017.
