Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has told his boss Moses Wetangula that he is tired working with the opposition and he wanted to join the government.
Mr Onyonka also asked Mr Wetangula who is the Bungoma senator to join him.
"Wetangula should swallow his ego alongside other NASA leaders such as Kalonzo and Musalia Mudavadi and meet President Uhuru Kenyatta and agree on how they will work for the benefit of Kenyans," he said.
He congratulated opposition leader Raila Odinga's recent move in accepting to work with President Kenyatta.
The MP said being in opposition will drag behind the development in the areas that oppose Jubilee Government and above all bring further division in the country.
His sentiments come at a time when a number of leaders are pushing for President Kenyatta to meet with other opposition principals apart from Mr Odinga.
The MP was speaking on Sunday at Marani Secondary School grounds for the ceremony of the new St Patrick Marani Parish that was inaugurated by Bishop Joseph Mairura.
