[Photo/Cypress Muthoka.Tala swimming association will for the first time host an amateur swimming gala at Nguluni Savvana lodge this Saturday.The gala will bring together swimmers drawn from the region who will compete in 4 different swimming categories.The categories will include, freestyle, butterfly category, breaststroke for ladies category and the backstroke.The championship will feature swimmers under the age of 12,14, 18 and the senior swimmers' category for swimmers over the age of 18.The gala which is organized by Tala swimming Association is aimed at nurturing swimming among Tala swimmers and promoting the game within the region.Winners in various categories for both men and women will receive trophies and medals.
