Kitutu Chache South MP has said that amending the constitution will curb election rigging in this country.
Speaking during an interview a local radio station on Tuesday, the NASA affiliated MP stated that once more post will be created in the constitution no leader will be interested to rig elections because political losers will be absorbed into the government.
"Creating Prime Minister post among other positions will stop election rigging in this country. I am part of those leaders pushing for the changes to be made so that we can have leaders who lose elections especially in presidential race working in government to stop the unnecessary chaos which arose due to election rigging," he noted.
He challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to accept the changes to be made in the constitution for the sake of peace in this country.
"We have been witnessing chaos since 2007 after elections. To curb the chaos and election rigging we should have a leader who takes number two, three and four in the presidential race absorbed into government by taking up prime minister posts respectively," he said.
