America's giant media house CNN will on Friday night air an exclusive interview with President Uhuru Kenyatta, State House has confirmed.
For the last four days, the president has been in an official visit to United Kingdom where he had a chance to meet Queen Elizabeth II.
State House Director in charge of Digital Communications Dennis Itumbi said the interview will be aired at 9pm local time.
The rare interview under an hour long Amanpour programme was recorded on Wednesday in London, a move that has excited State House.
Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita termed the interview 'hottest' and 'wide ranging' adding that it would be worth watching.
The programme is named after Christiane Amanpour who has interviewed hundreds of news makers around the world.
Among the issues set to feature include Kenya's measures to tackle economic downtown, unemployment and unprecedented handshake between Uhuru and Raila Odinga.
