The show was being hosted by Larry Madowo before he handed it over to Ciku Muriuki four months ago. Ciku also called it a quit after her last show on Friday, November 10, 2017.Reports Indicate that Larry left the Trend after competition from other media houses started trickling in. Amina who hosted Alfajiri show on K24 TV, was also a radio host. She however quit her Capital FM gig 'hitsnothomework' some time back. After her last show at Mediamax, she asked her fans to check out her page for more information on where she was headed to.
