Busia senator Amos Wako has asked NASA principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula to remain united or forget about the electoral reforms agenda.
Wako argues that NASA’s reforms push will stall if the principals walk separate ways.
In an interview with a local daily on Monday, the former Attorney General (AG) said that Raila, Kalonzo, Wetangula and Mudavadi have no option but to stick together.
The senator said that the country will plunge into tyranny if the reforms journey stalls.
“NASA leaders must remain united and assure supporters of their commitment on electoral reforms and justice,” he said.
The Busia senate lawmaker said that the country is badly divided as result of electoral injustices.
He said that NASA leaders have to come out and address media reports citing cracks in the coalition.
Wako also said that NASA has to strategize if it has to kick Jubilee out of power in 2022.
He said that divisions will see Jubilee cling to power forever.
There have been claims of cracks in NASA with political analysts warning that the alliance could soon collapse.
The NASA top leaders have however denied the ‘cracks’ claims terming them a creation of the media.
In a joint statement on Friday last week, the principals said that they are united and committed to pursue electoral reforms and justice.
