[Photo|Mike Sonko]Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has rescued six patients, shot in Migori during NASA anti-IEBC demonstrations.They had had been detained at St Joseph Omboo Mission Hospital due to unpaid bills. The six patients who were suffering from gunshot wounds had been discharged from hospital on Monday but were unable to pay their bill amounting to Sh263,341, prompting Sonko to intervene.The patients were discharged on Thursday afternoon after the Nairobi County Governor cleared the bill.Sonko also issued each of the six patients with Sh10,000 for transport back home.
