Amref Kenya issued a statement shortly after fire broke out at it's offices in Nairobi near Wilson Airport along Lang'ata road on Monday evening.

According to the Amref Health Africa CEO Githinji Gitahi, the fire which started at around 5.00pm was put out at 6.00pm with the help of KAA fire brigades, Nairobi city county fire brigades and police.

Gitahi added that no casualties were reported but noted investigations will be carried out to establish the cause and the extent of damage on the building.
