[Photo|Governor Nyong'o CU]In efforts to create awareness about the importance of health to sports professionals, the County Government of Kisumu through the Department of Tourism, Sports and Culture headed by Achie Ojany-Alai in partnership with NHIF saw it prudent to fully sponsor the initiative. Amsha Ball Tournament is an annual event attracting a large number of teams and fans within Kisumu estates usually organised by Kisumu Football Forum (Kifofo).This year's tournament kicked off on Friday, December 22 at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.Under the theme: 'Your health your wealth', the tournament will be running upto Sunday December 24, 2017 where the finals will be played. The County Government of Kisumu has provided trophies, refreshments and uniforms to be used during the tournament.
