[Photo/ standardmedia.co.ke]A former KCSE candidate has registered an organization known as Kenya E Graders Association in a move to bring together the students that do not make it to institutions of higher learning after their fourth form.Speaking to a local radio station, Ayub Simbaa Njagi started the organization after he got an E while at the Outering High School in Kariobangi South, Nairobi so that to mobilise resources to improve the welfare of the candidates who score low grades.“As a Kenyan I have registered Kenya E Association to recognize the candidates who manage E grade, to track them and know what they do after the results are out and how they can be helped,” Njagi said.“The students who get higher grades get to universities, the low grades can also get someone to local colleges, but the E student has completely been forgotten,” he added. In addition, Njagi advised candidates that it is good to take education seriously but when a student fails to make it to the university it’s not the end of the road, they can still make it in life.“When you are a student and you are being sponsored by the parent, donor or well-wishers, please work hard.”
