Jirongo told the court that he no longer visits the plot in fear of his life due to the woman's threats.

The former Lugari Member of Parliament was answering questions from the lawyer of the woman, James Njuguna who wanted to know why he never visits the plot despite claiming it belongs to him.

In the case, Jirongo has sued the woman, Mary Njoki Muya of refusing to move out of the plot now valued at over Sh100 million.

He was testifying as the director of the Kuza farms limited that owns the plot.

The woman who has allegedly refused to move out of the land, however, insisted that she has been living there since 1962, and vowed not to move out until he is given part of the plot, or is bought an alternative land.

The case which is being heard before Eldoret Chief Magistrate Charles Obulutsa will continue on July 2.
