Mheshimiwa, I hope this letter finds you well. You know of late there has been cases of unexplained (extra-judicial) killings and you are never sure whether your next door neighbour is still alive.

I will be very brief. Allow me to remind you of an old African saying that goes, "the ship sinks when it is almost reaching the dock."

Mheshimiwa, you have served Kenyans well; as a major general, a member of parliament, an assistant minister for security and now as interior CS.

It is my wish that you continue with this good legacy. I therefore urge you to swallow your pride and resign in the interest of Kenyans who have asked you to step aside following the mysterious murder of trio.

When you assumed office as interior CS on December 2,  2014, you swore to serve Kenyans by putting their interest first.

For the past four days, the same Kenyans have requested you to step aside to pave way for murder investigations, why haven't you honoured your pledge? Mheshimiwa, by resigning, you will preserve your legacy. Think about it.
