Here is a man in Kisii town whom has been a barber for more than 43 years and is still using the old shaving machine at his work regardless of the emerging new machines which are efficient and effective.

Samuel Osoti started his job in 1973 and he has never changed his shaving machines, saying that it attracts many customers who don't want the services of the new machines.

“I started this business in 1973 and I have been doing well, although the new shaving machines are more user-friendly I would not abandon my shaver since it has helped me in many ways and still I have customers who like it,” said Osoti.

He added that despite the new shaving machines in the area which has led to mushrooming of many barbershops in the area he still has loyal customers who like the old machine due to it is good service.

In addition, he said that through his work he has managed to build a house and is paying school fees for his children.

“This machine has helped me in many ways since the house I have is as a result of this shaving machine so there is no way I will abandon it and I don't know how to operate the new one.

Edward Osiemo who is one of the loyal customers said that he likes the service of the old shaving machine.
