As the fight to have corruption-free country intensifies, all eyes are on President Uhuru Kenyatta and many political analysts are giving him unsolicited advises.
One of the political analysts at the front line is lawyer Gabriel Muthuma who has asked the president to get ready to lose him loved ones involved in the scandals.
Speaking during an interview on Hot 96 FM on Monday, Muthuma said that the president is finding it tough to deal with the corruption menace because his friends and family members are also involved.
The analyst added that the only way to finish the corruption and leave a legacy is to accept the collateral damage as he fights the cartels holding him hostage because of the dear ones who might be hurt during the corruption crackdown.
“If president Uhuru Kenyatta is going to conquer this corruption menace, he must be ready to have collateral in his fight against corruption. He must get ready, the reason he is held hostage by the quarters that hold him, hostage, simply because they know that there are people around him who are dear to him who will be hurt by this fight against corruption. he must get ready to have this collateral,” said Muthuma.
He also asked the deputy president William Ruto to do the same and warn his friends and family that he shall not defend them if they are involved in the scandals.
