With former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar's political future hanging on the balance after losing in his quest to unseat Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho during the August 8 election, many people have been left guessing what the future holds for the outspoken politician.Last week Omar resigned as Wiper Secretary General and filed a petition challenging Joho's re-election which he said was manipulated in favour of the incumbent. The former senator also declared that he will not campaign for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.Though Omar dismissed claims linking him to Jubilee, political analyst Brian Mutie argued that the fiery politician is headed to the ruling party.Speaking during an interview on KTN, Mutie argued that Omar's likely destination is Jubilee, adding that the party is keen to lure the veteran human rights activist."I think Hassan Omar is headed to Jubilee...his recent political activities suggest so,” said Mutie.Already, former Wiper chairman David Musila has staged a mutiny against Kalonzo Musyoka and has since pledged to support President Uhuru Kenyatta in his re-election quest.
