Political analyst Herman Manyora has said that the petition filed by the opposition alliance NASA to challenge the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta will be won on the basis of indisputable facts and smartness.

Speaking on Citizen TV Sunday,Manyora said that the petitioner will only have one task in order to win the battle saying that the only job to be done is to convince the bench that there was a conspiracy to interfere with the results of the election.

''This is a very simple case. The petitioner will only have to prove to the judges that there was a conspiracy to subvert the will of the Kenyan voter.By succeeding in doing so,he can be sure of a win when the final judgement is made,'' said Manyora.

He however downplayed the bulky evidence presented to the court by the opposition block NASA.

NASA has presented 9000 pages of evidence as it seeks to convince the court that the poll was tampered with in a bid to tilt the results to favor President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.

According to Manyora, the alliance's lawyers will only have to point out the most important and effective parts of the evidence.

''The court cannot look at all the evidence presented and neither can it go back to check all the form 34As and Bs in the 14 days it is given by the law,NASA only has to stress on the most important parts of it's evidence,''

The evidence includes affidavits from several stakeholders including NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
