The Jubilee party has been advised to expect shocking results from two key counties in Gusiiland during the August 8 polls.
According to political analyst Danstan Omari, the ruling party will perform even more dismally in Kisii and Nyamira counties than they did in 2013 despite their numerous visits.
"Jubilee should expect a spectacular fail this time round. In fact they will perform more dismally than they did in 2013 because they have been using the Abagusii nation conveniently when polls are close and sumping them thereafter," he told Citizen TV.
Omari added that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy had also erred in appointing political rejects to spearhead their vote hunt in the two counties.
"Most of those who are leading the president's vote hunt in the region are either rejects or political greenhorns that won't deliver much. As a matter of fact the Omogusii is in Nasa to death, " he added.
Key Jubilee pointmen in the region include senator Chris Obure, former CIC chairman Charles Nyachae and Education and Interior CS Fred Matiangi.
The president has made sevaral trips to the area in a bid to win the over 800,000 votes that lay in stake even as the election date draws close.
