Apolitical analyst has warned the opposition outfit Nasa not to take lightly the incessant forays by the Jubilee government into its perceived strongholds.
Barrack Muluka on Monday told the opposition that they should not just dismiss the several defections being witnessed at the former Coast province saying it was sending a strong political message.
"What is going on at the Coast shows that the Jubilee is out to win the area at all costs. They have the wherewithal and the requisite resources to do so and the massive defections are a testimony to this. The opposition must move fast and address this or else they may get a big surprise with poll results,"he said.
The Coastal region which has largely been perceived to be an opposition block has witnessed massive defections of elected leaders some of whom include Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, his Tana River counterpart Hussein Dhadho among a host of other leaders comprising senators, women representatives, MPs and Members of the County Assembly (MCAs).
