Forty Amani National Congress (ANC) party elected MCA from Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia and Vihiga have requested the NASA summit to direct them on how to share power at the county level.
This is after the MCAs on Sunday met their party leader Musalia Mudavadi.
They said they want the power-sharing deal signed by the five coalition co-principals before it is implemented in the county governments.
Their party leader has promised to raise raise the matter at the summit.
“The remaining time is too short to follow the legal channel where the summit will have to discuss, agree and then file the reached agreement with the registrar of political parties,” he said.
The MCAs argued that ANC deserves a good share of the county executive positions since Mudavadi was the founder of NASA and went ahead to shelve his presidential bid for Odinga, an ODM man.
