The Amani National Congress (ANC) has revealed that it will field candidates for seven elective positions in Uasin Gishu county.
According to the party's county officials, they have a candidate for the Women Representative seat and six wards.
Moira Chepkok who unsuccessfully vied for the Women rep seat on an ODM ticket in 2013 elections, would try her lack for the second time but on a ANC ticket.
"We will give Jubilee a run for their money in the upcoming polls," said ANC Uasin Gishu chairman Cornelius Saina Mechu.
Uasin Gishu is considered a Jubilee zone, especially being home county to deputy president William Ruto.
In 2013, the United Republican Party (URP) won all the elective positions in the county except for the Kiplombe ward which was won by an Orange Democratic Movement candidate.
