NASA leader Raila Odinga has been urged to accept that he is old to go on retirement.
According to Lillian Marwa, a Kisii based politician who unsuccessfully vied for the Kisii County women rep seat on ANC party ticket during the last year’s polls Raila should be sent on permanent retirement.
"Raila has been postponing his ambition to become the president in this country until he has attained old age. He should not blame anyone but accept to retire and allow politicians he has brought up to be active in politics and strengthen the opposition ahead of 2022,” she said.
She regretted that Raila has embraced dictatorship leadership in his ODM party.
“It is worrying that young politicians in ODM party are worshipping Raila as if he is God. I wish to challenge the junior politicians to advise the old man accordingly and tell him the need to go on retirement since his old age requires that he be at peace, free from the political fights, insults and abuse to push his years further,” said Mrs Marwa.
The politician asked residents of Kisii County to open up their eyes and elect leaders who will perform and never to consider party politics.
She claimed that locals were dumped during the last year’s polls by ODM politicians who won the elections but until today there is no any development project the leaders have attempted to either initiate or launch.
