The Amani National Congress (ANC) rebellious trio of Senators Cleopa Malala (Kakamega) and George Khaniri (Vihiga) and nominated Member of Parliament Godfrey Osotsi now wants opposition co-leaders Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula out of politics.

Speaking on Radio Citizen Friday, Osotsi accused the National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principals of poor political qualities, noting that himself and the rest of the rebels have already laid out plans to take over as Luhya community point-men.

The first step, he said, will be looking into the Western Kenya's collapsing sugar industry, blaming the two for supervising the collapse of majority of sugar factories in the region despite their supposed paramount position in the area politics.

''We as the younger generation are out to save our people from bad leadership imposed on them by the two who by now should be considering exiting the political arena. They have been in politics for a long time but have nothing to show for it,'' said Osotsi.

''We are ready to take over and will begin by concentrating on the fall of sugar industries in Western Kenya. We want to empower our people by reviving the fallen factories and sourcing funds to bail out the ones suffering from debts,'' he added.

The trio has been at loggerheads with ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi lately, following his move to snub NASA chief Raila Odinga's January 30 mock presidential inauguration, an event that was also skipped by Wetangula and Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
