At least five pupils from Anestar academy in Bahati Nakuru have sustained injuries after their school van rolled at Murunyu trading center this morning.

According to an eyewitness, the Nissan van was being driven at a high speed when the driver lost control of it.

“The vehicle was transporting pupils to school. A section of the vehicle’s side was badly damaged,” said the witness.

It took the initiative of Good Samaritans to rescue the injured pupils who were immediately rushed to the Rift Valley General Hospital, most of them having bruises.

A medic at the hospital told this reporter that the pupils are in a stable condition.
