Angry bodaboda riders have torched a passenger bus in Busia town Sunday morning.

Witnesses said the bus, operated by Otange Sacco, was parked at a petrol sttion as a passenger alighted before a bike rider rammed into it.

His colleagues in the town run amok and attacked the bus's driver before setting it ablaze.

Area OCPD Essau Ochorokodi confirmed the incident.

He said police have swung into actio to nail suspects.
