There was drama today at the Shanzu Law Courts as lawyer Chris Ombeta protested the arrest of foreign women in Mombasa allegedly for being in the country illegally.The lawyer hit out at Inspector General Joseph Boinett.''I spoke to the Inspector General Joseph Boinett himself and I told him that this was impunity. I told him that we are being locked and until now he has done nothing. he told me that I was giving him long paragraphs,'' an angry Chris Ombeta told the media.Mr. Ombeta argued that the rights of the arrested Nepalese girls were being violated by being held by the police.He said that their work permits were valid and there was no legal justification for the police to continue holding them.
