A seething Miguna Miguna has read mischief in the state's demand that he apply for a visitor's visa before being allowed out of the walls of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
He has said that he will not acquiesce to that demand as it is a clear violation of his rights as a Kenyan and not consistent with a court order that ordered immigration authorities to allow him back into the country.
''Why should I do that when a court has given me a robust order to be allowed back into the country as a Kenyan. This is a trick and a trap and I will not fall into their trap. I would not advise my client to do this, so why should I do this to myself. A traveling document is a piece of paper and they can generate it in minutes,'' Miguna Miguna said.
The controversial lawyer and socio-political commentator spoke hours after arriving into the country.
Miguna was deported out of the country for his involvement in Raila Odinga's mock inauguration.
