Angry ODM supporters have vowed to teach Kisii County Women Representative Mary Otara a political lesson following her decision to cross to Jubilee.
On Sunday, Otara said her decision was reached after thorough consultation with electorates.
"I can't just ,move without talking to my supporters. They have stood with me all the time and I was guided to join Jubilee," she said.
But supporters led by Francis Onsinyo accused her of working with Jubilee to sabotage Governor James Ongwae's work
"She was not with us even at the time she has been within. We shall send her home because she is an enemy of progress," he said.
She will face former ODM Chief executive Janet Ong'era, who has since declared an interest in the seat.
