ODM leader Raila Odinga insists the decision by Nyamira governor John Nyagarama to ditch the party will not derail the ongoing activities aiming at revamping the party.
In a meeting on Friday, Nyagarama, who is in the US for medication, reportedly told off party officials who wanted his support.
And through former Embakasi South MP Ishrad Sumra, Raila reportedly said he is disinterested with Nyagarama's latest 'blackmail'.
"The party leader is furious with those who use the party as a bridge. He Knows them and he is disinterested with their stand.
"However, we have party organs which will deal with the matter and the party leader is fully behind any decision which the committees will take," he said.
Worryingly, Nyagarama is currently dealing with an election appeal which was filed by his Jubilee opponent Walter Nyambati.
Lately, the 75-years-old governor has been showing dalliance with Jubilee bigwigs including Deputy President William Ruto.
