Barely two months after angry Masii residents decided to tamper with Maendeleo Chap Chap posts, comes another similar incident.
Residents had tampered with posts near Governor Mutua’s parents’ home.
They had then given Mutua a period of time to ensure that he fulfils all promises he made to them. Failure to which, might have been what drove the residents to completely do away with posts on Thursday.
Residents have always wanted malfunctioning boreholes to be repaired and also better public toilets to be constructed to replace current clogged ones. These are issues that have never been addressed.
The residents claim that they have tried many times to get a hold of the governor but to no avail.
For the last four years, the governor has given county residents promises which he has failed to fulfil which is something that angers a lot of residents.
