A man who has been urinating on his bed was on Monday evening attacked and injured on his genitals in Ogembo, Kisii County.
Mr Jackson Okemwa, 27 is said to have reported home late at night, totally drank and decided to share the bed with his wife.
No sooner had he jumped into bed than his wife identified as only Kerubo started attacking him with kicks and blows.
His wails attracted neighbours who went and rescued him.
"How can he drink alcohol then come and urinate in bed? This is not his first time and whenever I question him he blames his drinking habit," said Ms Mokaya.
She said that her husband has been forcing her to dry their mattress under the sun on daily basis making neighbours make fun of her.
Locals said that the man is an alcohol addict and from the look of thing it will be so hard for him to quit.
"The man drinks a lot and has been a problem to the peace that we enjoy and efforts to ask him to stop have proved futile," said Mr James Okerosi, a local.
Ogembo police post boss, Mark Ogutu advised men to be responsible and take care of their families.
"The victim was taken to the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital where he is seeking medical attention," said Mr Ogutu.
