Kitutu Chache North Member of Parliament Jimmy Angwenyi has challenged the Kisii residents to respect the current elected leaders and give them time to deliver their promises.
Angwenyi said Gusii region residents should show respect to the current crop of leaders and avoid insulting them.
Speaking on Monday in Kisii town, the lawmaker urged the residents to seek shelter under jubilee government and respect current leaders since they were elected to deliver development. He said there was no need to insult them so that they work together to bring more development that can make Gusii region prosperous.
He noted it was quite embarrassing when other tribes join the current jubilee government fully leaving Kisii community outside. He challenged Gusii community to join current jubilee government to bring more development in Gusii region.
“Leadership comes from God. Let every resident respect leaders, give time to do development because unity always brings more development,” said Angwenyi.
He said he is working with the government and challenged all leaders in the region to work with the government to bring more resources to Gusii.
