South Mugirango Mp Manson Nyamweya has proposed that the 2017 presidential results should be announced at the polling stations and not from the main office in Nairobi to show transparency and fairness.
Speaking to journalist in Kisii town, the legislature alleged that when the results are sent to Nairobi there is a lack of transparency.
“In 2017 we don’t need the presidential results to be announced from Nairobi we are against that, every Kenyan needs to know who led the election at every polling station to get satisfied,” noted Nyamweya.
The legislature appealed to the government to have a dialogue with Cord coalition to agree who is going to conduct the next general election apart from the current IEBC commissioners.
Nyamweya announced that he will vie for the gubernatorial seat in Kisii County and promised to do more development if he gets elected.
