Police are investigating the murder of Nairobi politician who was killed on Sunday.

The MCA aspirant, together with his friend, was ambushed by a gang armed witha gun.

The attackers sprayed bullets on the two killing the friend on the spot as the politician was rushed to hospital.

The aspirant, Edison Natambeya was gunning for the seat on a Ford Kenya ticket.

Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula called for investigations into the murder.

Natambeya becomes another politician to be killed through a bullet in mysterious circumstances after two other politicians, a sitting MCA and an MP aspirant were killed in Baringo.
