Mudavadi has since joined hands with his fellow NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula in protest against the coalition chief Raila Odinga's recent reconciliation with President Uhuru Kenyatta citing exclusion, a move that Kirwa is opposed to, questioning his boss' opposition of the same.

''I completely support the Odinga-Kenyatta truce as it came at a time when the nation needed it most. There was need for cohesion and national healing and that is exactly what the two did, making it a laudable move,'' said the former Cherangany lawmaker on Radio Citizen’s Debe La Citizen Sunday.

With the disagreement threatening to bring down the 4 member party alliance which brings together ANC, Wetangula's Ford Kenya, Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper party, Kirwa noted that the 3 are, however, justified to complain.

He observed that the ongoing disagreement is as a result of poor communication within the summit, faulting the former Premier's move to keep his counterparts in the dark with regards to the meeting that preceded the handshake.

''The only problem that is now threatening to break the coalition is poor communication within the bloc's leadership. It would have been better if they had all deliberated before Odinga made the move,'' he added.

Mudavadi and Wetangula are already in the progress of assembling a separate bloc, accusing Odinga of downplaying them.
