The death of the former IEBC acting ICT manager Mr Chris Msando is still being felt by his wife Eva Buyu months after he was murdered before the August 8 elections in 2017.
The widow has penned an emotional letter to Kisumu county governor Anyang Nyong'o appealing for help so that she can be able to take care of her children.
On Wednesday her letter was read by Nyong'o as the Kenya Human Rights Commission marked 25 years of its operations at a Nairobi hotel.
"Any job at any organisation in order to educate my children. I don't want to submit myself to another man in order to feed my children. I will appreciate any decent job that will enable me to cater for my family,'" she said.
In the letter, Buyu also complains that the IEBC has abandoned the family.
