Speaking in Merti and Isiolo, Mr Odinga said Kenya risks becoming bankrupt should the current regime get reelected next year for another five years.

He appealed to voters to kick out the Jubilee administration as the only way to save the country from collapsing.

"This government has recorded the highest number of high profile corruption cases ever and time has come to kick it out," said Odinga.

"We cannot have a government that does not care about public welfare and development."

Mr Odinga who, the front-runner to unseat Mr Kenyatta in 2017 asked voters to exercise their democratic right and vote out the Jubilee regime.

According to the former Prime Minister, Uhuru's failure to act on the NYS scandal is enough confirmation of his failure to bring the masterminds of the scandal to book.

He claimed the government is responsible for the shoddy investigations on graft cases as it is protecting the 'big fish'.
