Hardly a week after a Jubilee Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi called for Raila Odinga's swearing-in not to be stopped, another Jubilee governor has made that same call.
Tharaka Nithi Governor called for the swearing-in to be allowed to proceed on January 30 so that Kenyans can see where it will lead.
According to the governor, the swearing-in would not lead to anything much as it was just a ploy by the NASA supremo to remain relevant.
''I think we should allow this swearing-in to go on on January 3O so that we can see where it leads to,'' Governor Muthomi Njuki said.
Governor Muthomi spoke in a panel discussion on a local television station today in the morning.
The Governor's words come in the context of heightening tensions over Raila Odinga's swearing-in scheduled for January 30.
He said that the Uhuru administration was legally installed and antics by the opposition would not change that reality.
