Only days after Kabete MP hopeful Charles Chege was mysteriously kidnapped and later found unhurt, another politician has also gone missing in an almost similar scenario.

According to the Star, the car was discovered by the roadside by a bodaboda operator who notified the police at the Githunguri police station.
The 31-year old politician's personal belongings including 2 mobile phones and money were however found intact inside his abandoned car with a pair of spectacles thought to be his being found almost 100 meters from the car raising eyebrows on his possible whereabouts.
Central region police boss Larry Kiyeng has however called for calm saying that his department has opened investigations in a bid to solve the puzzle.
An almost similar case had been reported involving Chege who had been reported missing after his car was found abandoned and with bullet holes. He was later found unhurt on Saturday in Narok town.
He was taken to hospital by a taxi operator before recording a statement with the Narok Police.
Narok OCPD Phillip Kipkirui said that the suspect that he had been drugged by the abductors before being taken to the town.
“After first aid, he started speaking softly. We suspect he was drugged by unknown people before being dumped in Narok,” said Kipkirui as quoted by the Star.
His disappearance aroused anger from his supporters who sensed political foul play by his rivals leading to protest.
