Photo Caption/.Former Ulinzi Stars coach Benjamin Nyangweso gestures in a past match.He was relieved off his duties by the Nakuru based club on Thursday.(goal.com)Kenya Premier Leagues (KPL) outfit Ulinzi Stars is the latest to part ways with its head coach after Benjamin Nyangweso was redeployed back in the military and replaced by former player Dunston Nyaudo albeit on a temporary arrangement.A brief statement from the club on Thursday revealed the development saying the veteran coach would be assigned other duties in the barracks."Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has been redeployed to other military duties.Meanwhile, Dunstan Nyaudo takes over on an interim basis,"read part of the statement.The Soldiers endured a torrid 2017 season that saw them finish outside their traditional top five bracket as a series of losses relegated them to seventh on the KPL log.The disappointments left many fans shocked as Ulinzi went on to lose some easy fixtures and it was only a matter of time for the club's management to act.Nyangweso steered Ulinzi to the title victory in 2010 but was shown the door a season later after a string of poor shows.He later returned to the Nakuru based side in 2016 as an assistant to head coach Robert Matano.He would later be elevated as head coach after Matano fell ill and later parted ways with the club ahead of the 2017 season.Other teams that have also parted ways with their tacticians this season include Bandari who fired Ugandan Paul Nkatah and Chemelil Sugar who dismissed the veteran Juma Abdallah.
